  • get into your steam library and correct click tf2 and go to properties

    browse local files

enter tf and await for the custom folder (if at that place is none then make it)

extract the zip into the custom folder

if done correctly information technology should work

    URL to post:

  • The instructions are pretty much almost the same as on Windows, though the location depends on your setup.

If you've installed the game to your organization deejay, information technology should exist somewhere in your User folder. For instance, on my laptop, information technology would exist ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Team Fortress ii/. If you installed Steam using Flatpak or Snap, it probably will exist somewhere else (please never install Steam this way). If you are having trouble finding information technology, merely right click TF2 in your Library and open the game folder from there:

From here on out, it's the same as on whatever other Os. Just copy the VPK files for the mod, which should be included in the downloaded archive, into your tf/custom/ folder.

If at that place are no VPKs inside, and there are only folders with files inside, find out where the root of the mod is. Make a new binder in your tf/custom/ folder named whatsoever the hell you lot want, and copy the mod'due south folders into it, if they're named something like "material", "script", "sound", or annihilation like. If they're named something totally different, similar the proper noun of the mod, then look inside for where the bodily mod contents are. This part is a bit catchy to put into only words solitary, and then if you lot need help feel free to ask someone for a video walkthrough, or look ane up on Youtube.

If you don't have a tf/custom/ folder, make one.

    That's nearly it.
