How To Install Hyper V Server 2012

Windows Server 2022 is the latest version of Windows Server from Microsoft. The latest server is more focused on virtualization and cloud technologies. Server 2022 has done massive changes from user interface to available roles and features. Hyper V role in Server 2022 has done lot of improvements. This article shows how to install Hyper 5 in Windows Server 2022.

Install Hyper V in Windows Server 2022

To install Hyper V in Server 2022, open up the Server Manager. If you are installing Hyper 5 in VMware Workstation nine then install Windows Server 2022 every bit virtual automobile with at least six GB virtual memory and xc GB hard drive space. Don't forget tochoose Hyper V as guest operating organisation version. After installing Server 2022, install the VMware tools. Then restart the server. At present select network adapter for virtual switches. Then clickSide by side push button. In Virtual Live Migration windows you tin can configure live migration it now or later. I volition configure later on. So click Next button. Then you lot will see following window.

Here, configure the location to store Hyper V virtual hd files. After configuring it, clickSide by sidebutton.

You can now see the installation information and confirm information technology by clickingInstall button. You can now see the installation begins. After installation completes, restart the server. At present open Hyper V director from first menu to configure it.
